This is a very simple STEM program to introduce children to Money. According to the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability, preschoolers ages 3 to 5 should understand:
You need money to buy things.
You earn money by working.
You may have to wait before you can buy something you want.
There's a difference between things you want and things you need.
So how do we start learning about these four basic concepts? Let's start by reading the book, How Money is Made by Jennifer Boothroyd. Show your child a penny, nickel, dime and a quarter.

The best way to understand these more concepts, kids will make a bank to put their money they earn or receive from family and friends.
