In this program, kids are going to learn about the Therizinosaurus dinosaur. It was a huge herbivorous theropod dinosaur living at the end of the Cretaceous period. To learn more about this interesting dinosaur, we will read together the book, The Dinosaur Awards by Barbara Taylor.
Afterwards with the help of the illustrator of this book, we will illustrate our own therizinosaurs dinosaur using paint and colored pencils. We will create it as we watch the illustrator, Stephen Collins create one on a youtube video.
