Introduction: Children will be introduced to sewing in a fun and interactive way. The skills learned in this program are:

  • Develop fine motor skills

  • Aides in practice of focus and concentration

  • Promotes mindfulness

  • Design thinking

  • Real life applications


Sewing Skill:

Overcast Stitch

Project:

Like most programs, it will begin with a story. Then children will go to the craft tables. Adult supervision/volunteers are needed for this program.
