The Bald Eagle by Julie Murray
Craft:
The eagle craft is a wonderful paper craft to make for the 4th of July. It is a great way to teach your kids about our national bird and what it stands for. You could even add a little red, white and blue to the eagle to make it even more patriotic!
Material:
Scissors
Black sharpie
Pencil
Glue stick
Hand Print Eagle Template printed on white card stock
Googly eyes
1 piece of Yellow construction paper
2 pieces of brown construction paper
1 piece of white construction paper
Directions:
Print and cut out template on white cardstock.
Trace eagle head on white construction paper.
Trace feet and peak on yellow construction paper and cut out.
Trace body on brown construction paper and cut out.
Trace child's hands onto brown construction paper and cut out.
Assemble the eagle.
Draw toe/tail lines with marker. See example below:
