Description of Program: Fun DIY project to get the kids excited about going back to school with something personalized
Instructions:
Measure about five inches down and draw a line across the bag with a Sharpie.
Using the line as a guide, cut your bag with scissors. It should look like this:
Apply a strip of tape along the zipper, turn your bag over and wrap it around the back part of your pouch. Make a cut and fold the access over.
Add another roll using the same process.
You will be left with a small strip of the bag still exposed. Now add a final row of tape but just on the front leaving 1"overhanging on each side.
Cut a square out of each corner.
You will be left with two tabs.
Fold them in. Fold the bottom up.
You can also make a student ID pouch using another plastic bag. Just cut out a credit card sized piece of plastic from another plastic bag. I folded a piece of tape around one edge of the plastic and then taped down the sides and bottom to the side of the pouch.
