Pop-Up Firework Craft

Material Needed:

• Wooden Spoons (1 per child)

• 12” x 18” Black construction paper (1 per child)

• Various color ribbon

• Stapler

• Scissors

• Star Stickers

• 10 1/2” plate

• White color pencil

Prep work:

• To make it easier, trace circle for each child.

• Trace round circle with a white pencil using a 10 ½” plate.

• Cut it out.

Directions for home:

• Cut from the outside of the circle in a straight line to the midpoint.

• Roll the construction paper around the spoon.

• Staple the paper at the point where the spoon fits snug around the paper so that spoon doesn’t move.

• Curl ribbon and then tie it around neck of the spoon.

• Decorate outside of the construction paper with stars or other fun stickers.
